Strategist. Project Manager. Facilitator.
Transparency about your sustainability performance and progress is rapidly becoming an expectation of doing business today; it’s no longer an option. Biodiversity. Chemicals Management. Climate Change. Measurement. Traceability. Preferred Materials. Operations, Product, Supply Chain - it's a complex landscape to navigate. But complexity does not have to mean chaos.
I guide teams in co-creating and achieving shared sustainability goals. My approach is based on appreciation: that each participant's unique contribution can harmonize to generate change more powerful than any individual alone could achieve. In this symphony, my role as "conductor" is to work with groups to cast a common vision and goals that inspire, develop and align on plans and roles grounded in that vision, uphold individual accountability, maintain focus, and ensure the group achieves on-time, high quality outcomes they are proud of. I design and facilitate every group interaction, from regular phone or web meetings to large in-person sessions, to maximize clarity, drive to decision and deliver results. More ...

Testimonials
“Amy has a rare combination of skills that make her an exceptional program/project manager. She is a quick study, able to get up to speed very quickly on relevant subject matter; highly organized, able to manage both big picture and details; and most important a true change catalyst, able to enroll complex, multi-stakeholder groups in a mission that matters, build and maintain their commitment through obstacles and challenges, and create true co-ownership of the outcomes. She is one of a select few people I would hire without hesitation to work on any project of consequence. ”
“I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Amy on several different projects through different working groups. In fact, I was asked to lead one and I agreed only if they agreed to hire Amy to lead the project. She is someone that can take complex topics and break it down for all to understand. She is able to keep projects moving to be finished on time and everyone still likes her at the end! I highly recommend Amy and would love to have the opportunity to work with her again.”
“Amy is an incredible asset to any project or organization. I have worked with her as an employee and a consultant and she is masterful at managing complicated collaborations, getting diverse groups to difficult decisions quickly, and delivering on deadline. She’s also an absolute pleasure to work with. The Sustainable Apparel Coalition would never have been started without her tireless effort, persistence, and personality. ”
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Amy for nearly eight years. She is an adept facilitator, having brought direction, clarity, and progress for countless multi-stakeholder groups. This includes her critical role in guiding the Sustainable Apparel Coalition’s Material Sustainability Index through a complex academic review process, something that would not have succeeded without her expertise and endless patience. Amy exudes a positive outlook and approaches projects with professionalism and insight.”
“Amy is one of the best contractors with whom I have had the pleasure of working. Her facilitation skills, project management expertise, and attention to detail, combined with her critical thinking ability and experience in / grasp of the apparel and footwear sector, its sustainability challenges, and the levers for change, have made her the perfect fit to lead several key sustainability projects for Outdoor Industry Association and the industry at large - including the development and launch of the OIA Chemicals Management Module of the Higg Index as well as the first ever broad-scale outdoor industry Higg Index adoption campaign. And over all of these skills, she is a pleasure to work with on a personal level, and is truly driven by wanting to make an impact - which shows in her quality of work. I would highly recommend Amy as a skilled addition to help drive any sustainability-related projects, particularly in the apparel and footwear space.”
